I'm pretty sure it will. Currently I just have my 4th Gen Nano hooked up so I haven't tried Pandora. I'll try and hook my iPhone up today and see if it works and get back to you. I'm confident that it will as long as your Pandora app can keep up on 3G or 4G.
If you're replacing your stock T4R HU, this is an awesome upgrade for super cheap (free in your case). The first thing I noticed was the bass that I got from the T1808 and my stock speakers.

EDness, plugged in my iPhone and it gave me the message "this accessory is not intended for use with iphone" or something to that degree. It started playing a song from my library but then I changed it over to Pandora and it was working. Mind you, I have the Scoche passport adapter to charge my Nano. I took the adapter off and it wouldn't work. Also, the adapter was making a funny whinning noise so I unpluged it.

I'll offer a bit of advice and recommend not trying to remove the Scion logo with nail polish. I did a T1806 install earlier this year (which I also love BTW and was $50-ish less expensive), and considered removing the logo. I tried nail polish on the underside of the bottom trim piece on the stereo to see what would happen; non-acetone nail polish remover didn't do anything, and acetone nail polish remover started eating the plastic (don't worry, i only did a tiny spot that would never be visible...).

I did the T1808 mod with a Ipod cable in July. However, due to the way my wife positioned her iphone with the cable hangin out and around it, it now doesnt allow the tunes to go to ALL the speakers. If i bend the wire and hold it a certain way, it'll work correctly, but its easy to see that the cable inside the insulation is frayed and needs to be replaced.
I originally bought mine off ebay, but i'd like to know if anyone who did the ipod cable mod bought their cable from a certain supplier or even tell me what model they have.

A little piece of advice to those who might even remotely feel that they lost some reception on their radios since switching out their stock HU for a Scion or even an aftermarket.
My wife and I both noticed we would lose signal quite easily so i ordered the Y-adapter + the adapter for the small antenna socket off of Amazon.com (was very inexpensive and came quickly) and installed it yesterday. This was coupled with my having to replace the Ipod cable that I bought off of ebay that had internal-fraying issues, so we'd have to hold the cable + ipod a certain way in order to hear it through all the speakers. If we didnt do this, we would only hear them in the front and it sounded horrid.
I disassembled the dash as per the instructions that were given to me through the forum and i secured the Y-adapter to the existing harness w/ some electrical tape:
The new adapter coupled with the small-to-large adapter, all taped up:
I fished the Ipod cable through to the ash tray (made a small cut in the lower-back corner of the tray):
A closer look at the placement of the cut. (Important to note that there is NO CHANCE that the cable will "fall back" into that compartment. There is some pressing-force down on the cable underneath the ashtray area so that it wont fall back into the compartment.
After everything is back together, I read the T1808's instructions for the "opening screen" and programmed it to read, "Jess's 4Runner". The wife likes it. Mission accomplished.

I know this is an old topic, but it looks like exactly the thread I need to post my question in...
Anyway, I am doing this same install this weekend or next.
Installing a T1808 into my 2006 4Runner SR5 with the stock single CD HU and steering wheel controls.
Only difference is, I'm not an iPhone guy, I use a Blackberry and a Galaxy S4.
So I have 2 questions...
I would like to know if I can plug in a USB stick with mp3s on it and play that. Also, I like to plug my Blackberry into the audio cable in the center console and play my music thru it.
Will I still be able to use that audio-in jack after installing the T1808?
