Well... now that I have a few mods done, I feel like I can start a "Build Thread".

I started with a list of mods to do... still building it.

So far I have taken the dash apart too many times to count, installing this and that.

Currently I have installed

- Ham radio (Yaesu 8800)
- Ham antenna lift gate mount
- OTRATTW 3x Switches ( Left alley, Backup, and Right alley)
- Mostly wired the backup lights
- Husky mats... is this really a mod???
- Nav lockout mod (Thanks J.A.)

Planned on installing
-Gobi Rack
-Front lights
-Side roof lights
-Front camera linked to mirror display
-Sliders


I know I am going to get the THIS THREAD IS WORTHLESS W/O PICS... I welcome it ;P, Pictures will be added once I have a break in work.

Most of my time is spent working... Which like all of us stinks... I also have another project that is a LOT heavier and bigger, as you will see in my signature.

And as some of you are wondering, I have a 2013 sr5 4x4 with entune and the third row seating... The only options I really needed.

OK... to add the pictures now

First this is the money shot ,

followed by the shot of the spaghetti that was the Ham radio install... or at least when I had no time to install the radio, and hooked it up to the cigarette 12v.

Up next is the location of the head unit for the radio...

The one cut shot, is the area where I installed the triple switch

After that is the depth of the cut on the side... the other one is a little further cut in... I always to forget to take pictures of the installation process

and finally the switch holder installed... I need to take a final shot... it looks great, only down side is i cant fully close the cover.

Interesting spot for both but should be very functional.

Can we get a photo of the switch bank with switches mounted to the truck? Does the door still close over them?
