Scratched radio screen

Hi guys, was carrying an 8ft garage light in the 4runner when another driver cut me off on the freeway, causing me to hit the brakes, light unit flew into the radio... The impact not only left scratches to the screen, but temporarily disabled the back light. I smacked it a few times and light seems to be OK for now, but the screen is pretty jacked up.

AAA will have someone replace it with a refurbished stereo. Is that OK?

Alternatively, is there a way to buy just the screen and can I replace it myself? Or is the screen attached to the actual stereo head?
