Screen Name Changes

In the past several weeks I have received many requests for screen name changes. I have spoken to admin and it's not really easy. So here's the deal: If you have been here for awhile and have several hundred posts and have a good reason to change it (and I know a few of you do) then pm me with details on what you want your new screen name to be. I will forward that info and it will happen.
If you only have a few posts and want something different and haven't been here long then it will be easier and faster to just create a new account and pm me to delete your old account. If you have a build thread or something you need to save we would have to change your screen name for this.

For newbies: A word of advice - Don't create your account and screen name after having too much to drink. What sounds witty and cool after four beers is probably not witty nor cool tomorrow. Just a PSA because I get those stories too.

Punishment for that should be keeping the screen name! It's like the walk of shame for t4r.

i used to use a screen name related to the car that i drive at the time... turned out i had to change it every year or two... so now i'm just using my family name lol

I always thought that part of what keeps things somewhat civil on a forum was your past wasn't erased.

What kind of things are people hiding from? Were they just being a$$holes and want a fresh start?

Well, there is that one thread over in "General Discussions" titled "I am a 42 year old virgin - is that unusual"..... :-)
