I am kind of looking forward to it. I'm a Denver fan myself. I like New Orleans but I want to see Russel Wilson wax that ass! He has been on point this year!!

If Seattle hasn't been tested much lately then they are going to walk right into the playoffs. The rest of the schedule after tonight are teams that they have already beaten this year like the Rams, 49ers and Cardinals. And a Denver/Seattle superbowl this year would be an awesome game!! High scoring I would imagine

Yeah, at the beginning of the year their schedule looked pretty stiff to me, but many of the teams that were supposed to be better just haven't been so. Like the Texans and the Falcons. It's going to be an interesting game. No Browner and Thrumond just got suspended for four games. We're still pretty deep in our secondary, so that's good. If it was in NO, I might agree with you, but I think the home advantage is going to (hopefully) be huge.

The 49er game should be interesting. In SF and with Crabtree back. Kap seems like a whole other QB when he's got him around. Arizona is also playing pretty good ball lately.

I think IF that was the SB, it would be all dependent on what the weather is like. Going to be such a tossup in NJ.

I'm not sold on Kaepernick yet. I'm seeing the potential of another Tim Tebow...a complete fluke. Also I've never really seen Carson Palmer as an elite quarterback, why the Cardinals stuck with him is beyond me. Seattle is a more complete team than Arizona and San Fran.

In my eyes, Seattle is a bit Chief-ish. Decent defense and a suspect offense. The running game is good but the QB and receivers may not be able to carry the team. Slightly overrated overall thanks to some soft opponents.

I do think they are better than the Chiefs but certainly share characteristics and stats. Actually, as I typed this I decided to check a few stats just to make sure I'm not too far off.

Those defense numbers look great... but their opponents are a combined 33 and 54. My concerns are how well they will handle a high octane offense or what happens when they meet another shutdown defense, like the Panthers.

New Orleans is 2-6 when the temperature is 40 degrees and below.

Forecast for tonight in Seattle: 39 degrees at kickoff. 20% chance of rain with possible dusting of snow.

Last time NO played in Seattle was in 2010, NO lost 41-36 and the temp was 40 degrees at kickoff.

Ok, before people begin flaming me, I know numbers don't mean much in football (only in baseball :lol: )

Mostly sunny currently. Temps are supposed to dip pretty significantly by game time, but no precip as of now.

I agree. I'm not sold that he has the mental smarts to sustain a longterm career. Guess we'll have to see.

Agree to an extent too. I think the think that will set them apart is one, their offensive line is finally healthy again. And two, they're getting back one of the most explosive players in the game in Percy Harvin. He showed in his brief time in the Vikings game that he hasn't lost a step. Just a matter of getting into game-shape. Not to mention that we are and will continue to be a rushing team. Pound teams with Marshawn and our D.

I agree Seattle offense can be questionable at times. Especially with the recievers. Lynch is 3rd in receptions and that's above Zach Miller and Sydney Rice. Both Seattle and Kansas City's running backs are trying to carry the offense on their backs. And Russel Wilson seems to be a tad bit more mature about decision making than Kaepernick and the experienced Alex Smith. I wonder why Alex Smith finally decided to show up this year we've been waiting for years

Actually, he can take the night off for me and save it for the next few games. I already won by 2 points and still have Lynch and Baldwin to go. I'm so glad my opponent benched Tate and Wallace this week and didn't notice Julius Thomas was out. His bench outscored his active roster, which included Stafford and Megatron. :lmao:

You are absolutely correct. Which is why I put him in the same skill level as Wilson and Kaepernick. Smith got drafted in 05 and is playing like guys from 2012 like Wilson. He's way behind his time

I think one of the biggest differences thus far is that Wilson has shown that he can perform well, even thrive, under pressure. Compare that with our last starting QB Tavaris Jackson (who is now our backup). He had all the physical tools. Big, cannon arm, super athletic etc etc, but he didn't win once when down in the 4th quarter. So much of the NFL game is mental and how you approach it.

definitely looking forward to this game. i'll be curious to see if SEA can put up enough points to keep up with NO. I love the intensity SEA D plays with but I've also seen some vulnerability, especially up front. going to be fun. pulling for SEA.
