I mean, look at all the talk of how we're the best team in the NFL just coming off a very convincing win agains what what arguably one of the better teams in the NFC and we're -2.5 pt underdogs in this coming weekends game.

SF defense is a bit tougher than NO. This one will definitely be a defensive battle.

Most definitely. I think it's going to be a super tough game. Especially with the short week. I was just using it as an example of the advantage vegas sees in a home field in NFL.

Gotcha... I think that's true for the most part. There are some situations where it doesn't matter through. Like any game played in Jacksonville or Houston this year... or Raiders vs Chargers... Baltimore vs NE.

I think they see the return of Crabtree as a big factor. I kind of agree. I think he's the X factor in this game. I'm not too worried about Bouldin or Davis. We've shown that if you put a man on them who plays them physical, they can't get any separation. However I think if they get Crabtree a few early explosive plays, that could open up not only Davis and Bouldin, but Gore as well.

Going off of this: my 2 home teams play this weekend, Geaux Saints! I'm a pats fan though, but was disappointed when the saints got killed on Monday >.<, was hoping for a close game.

Eh, officiating can go wither way. Let's not forget that Green Bay game last year. I'm of the opinion that if you don't want officiating to decide the outcome, you have to play better before it gets to that.

Yes these are good points and I think even diehard Seahawks fans will admit the Green Bay event was bizarre.
Also I did start my comment by saying Pittsburgh in '06 was admittedly very good. My only concern for that particular game though was that while many games have a couple of questionable calls, in Super Bowl XL, all of the key questionable calls went in favor of the Steelers.... just sayin...

Nevertheless I agree with the sentiment here that these 2013 hawks are much better than in 2006.

Yep. I knew it was going to be a hard game to win. I actually liked the way we lost. We showed how undisciplined we can be at times and how bad it can hurt us. Hopefully this will help us get our sh*t together.

11-2 could still end up being 11-5. We need to seal up home field advantage. That's going to be HUGE for us if we don't have to travel anywhere. I think this game against the Giants is also going to be tough. Long travel and they're playing much better than how they started the year. Plus, they have nothing to lose at this point.

I think you guys will be fine against the Giants. The X factor here is the weather again... cold and a good chance ice/snow. The good news is little Manning is a turnover monster.

I sure hope the rematch goes the same way as the MNF game, but somehow I don't think that's going to be the case.

I agree, going to be tougher this time around. Without KJ Wright, we dont have a tall LB to put on TE Graham. Smith is very athletic but that will be tough. The Saints lost one of their safeties and apparently are starting a rookie at OT (not sure if its LT or RT). I still like Seattles edge when it comes to physicality on both sides of the line of scrimmage. We will get pressure on Brees. NO is an aggressive team schematically and they will take their shots downfield in the passing game. This time around, I have a feeling they are going to connect more. I think Hawks pull out a close one.
