hi thanks for the tip! I'm hoping access and remove the seat bottoms without taking off the whole seat and seat rails. After removing the seat I'm going to replace the damaged cover with new vinyl I purchased off eBay.

Can't imagine how you'll reach all the hog rings without pulling the seat out
of the truck. Some of the rings are seriously buried in the foam.

Hog rings highly recommended. The tie wraps have to hold metal rods to metal
bars. With constant movement when you're in the seat, eventually they're
going to wear through.

thanks for the insight on the hog rings. might go that route .I do want to remove the bottom seat pan just not the rails.

If you are patient and careful, you can re-use the stock hog rings and use needle nose pliers (two) to put everything together.

As others have said, the seats have to be out of the truck to do the work. Seats out, side panels off, unbolt bottoms then get to work...
