I will be vague, PM me if you would like. When I owned my Mini Cooper, I told some truths on the Mini forums and dealer/staff did not like it and I got booted. So, sorry in advance for not calling names, I like it here.
Im on the Gulf Coast of FL. I'm seeking quality service department. Honesty, is a must as it should be but my current dealer is leaving me without much choice but to drive farther from home.
Clearwater, Tampa, Ocala, Wesley Chapel, Somewhere thru that area would be preferred. Anyone recommend or stop me from any of these locations, all info, good or bad would be greatly appreciated.
I hate going to the dealer, but with the free labor til 40k miles, my wife insists on me losing my mind dealing with the dealer. "Its free" :frusty:
At 5k miles, the dealer inspected my 4runner and said my brakes were in need of replacement... Measuring in the red. At 10k they were green, good as gold, at 15k, they were back in the red. At my request, a second look was taken and always came back the same. Did my brakes magically repair themselves, will they be green again at 20k
Also pushing fuel additives, walnut blasting, etc, no go. "Oh we can tell you're running fuel with ethanol in it in your tank" we can remove it with a process. BS I heard that too elsewhere.
And please dont show me someone else's filthy air filter, especially one that doesnt even resemble mine at 5k telling me to replace and its not under warranty.
I'm tired of the run around, I dont have the patience for lies and down talking.
