I've had my 4 runner since May 2018. I have approx 12.5k miles on it so far. I had the complimentary 10k service done at 7500 miles.

I'm getting the maintenance required message on the screen. Is it safe to assume this is coming up for the 15k service? And per the maintenance schedule, isn't that service just a tire rotation and check fluids?

I was planning on not doing anything now but completing a second oil change at 15k along with tire rotation, fluid check etc. Is there something that I am missing? I just want to make sure all is in order.

Is there a way to make the maintenance required notification go away?

-- The maintenance reminder was reset by the dealer. It triggers every 5K from when it was last reset. Yes, 5K is just tire rotation and fluid checks.

-- With the key on, push odometer reset until it shows Trip A
Turn off, hold odometer reset in and turn on key, but don't start. The mileage counter will do a reset pattern and reset the 5K reminder.

You can get rid of those reminders by going into the navigation screen and follow the below steps:
Apps > Maintenance > [COMPONENT] > Reset > Yes
Then press anywhere on the blank part of the screen.

This is at least how it's done on my 2016 SR5.
