We just got her a new vehicle last week and she loves it. We tried the lexus rs, the acura mdx, etc. She picked the cr-v touring awd. It is nice, she loves it, end of story. Happy wife, happy life.

Traded in my f250 to buy my wife her dream car out 2010 4runner 5 yrs ago, last year I took it over started modding it, now she hates to drive it. So I traded her up to a gx460, she loves and can't get her out of

nice GX460. love those integrated running boards. too bad Toyota no longer does, would love to have that on the LE.

Than I get in my POS 02 Camry. So I would say, you aint got it too bad.

The only way out is another 4Runner for her or greater... Hopefully by the end of this year

My wife has only driven my 4runner a couple of times. She is afraid because she knows how anal I am (My 4runner still looks new inside and out). Although one of the few times she has driven it, she managed to get the only door ding it has ever seen in the last 1.5 years...

Lets admit it. The majority of women are predisposed to not really care about vehicles too much.

They are a vessel to get from point A to point B and if something happens, oh well, it's collateral damage.

My wife's 2 year old car has been rear-ended by Crown Vic at a stop light (she didn't see any damage except for scratches on the bumper) so she never claimed his insurance, hailed on and has more door dings than I can count including one that is like 6" long and looks like somebody slammed a 2x4 into it.

She doesn't care. She gets it serviced at the dealer and has it cleaned once a month, other than that it's transportation to her.

Men and women are very different in that aspect in general. Sure there are guys that don't know squat about vehicles and couldn't care less about damage but we'll leave the millennial's out of this.

My wife thinks my truck is enormous and hates driving it, at 5'2" it probably is enormous for her to drive. She got her audi and I hate cars, so we are both happy.

The pic above is exactly our cars, we both drive with the kids an equal amount. Her car has crumbs and chunks of everything the kids eat everywhere, my car stays spotless. I trained the rug rats to keep daddies truck clean

Right, wrong or indifferent my Dad's perfectionism rubbed off on me - and I kid you not - when I traded in my 2002 4Runner last month on my 2015 Trail it did not have one scratch or door ding on it. Garaged it's whole life. It was perfect and somebody in the Denver area got one clean 3rd gen.

Funny thing is it never hit AutoNations lot. I've watched. Somebody snagged it up before it hit the lot. My guess is somebody that worked there.

My wife thinks I am obsessive (or anal retentive depending on her mood) but I am what I am LOL.

If you don't mind me asking how did you do on the trade of your 2002 4Runner? I bought a 2015 TE and have a 2002 that I am getting ready to sell. Thought about trading it in. Still driving the 2002 to work and only have around 220 miles on the new one.
