Shift/Trans Case knob question

Does anyone know if the Transfer case shifter is the same size shaft (diameter) and thread as the Shifter?

I want to say yes they are the same. At least my two ICON knobs are identical minus the top cap.

I was thinking the type R for trans and the big type R for shifter.

They are not the same. The transfer case shaft is bigger. The thread pitch is the same, diameter is not.
