Shocks????????

Hi guys, I'm new to this board and have already gotten great information! Now I have some questions, No.1 What are the best shocks? No.2 Do does anyone use air shocks? I do not off road but I do tow a boat.I have an '02 that I bought in May, my first! Awesome truck! I've owned two Tacomas in the last 15 years. Any comments or opinions would be greatly appreciated. You will get a ton of different opinions about best shocks.. Popular choices are the bilstein 5100 series or the OME. Both are durable and work great with the runner. Check out Sonoransteel.com they have a lot of information about the toyota shock choices and what to expect from different set ups, as well as a rear kit that is built for towing.

Ya. You'll definitely get a wide range of opinions depending on what you're looking for in the end. What are your plans? You said you plan on towing a boat and don't off road. Do you plan on lifting it at all? If you want to keep it stock, a good combo of new shocks (5100's for example) and a set of air bags for when you're towing would be a nice combo.
