Should I buy?

So I found a 1985 toyota pickup front axle should I buy it for a SAS in my 95 4runner it going for 100

$100 is a decent deal, is it a bare housing or complete?

The ad says it works but has a little rust

looks like a lot of rust can i clean it up?

With a wire wheel. But I'd get a look at it first and make sure it's all just surface rust. If it's eaten into anything, anywhere, I'd give it a pass.

Surface rust isn't a problem.
Don't worry about the brakes, steering, etc, if you're doing a SAS all that is going to be replaced anyway. And $100 is dirt cheap, they haven't been made since 1985.

$100????? Wow I'd be all over that. Lowest I've seen in my area was 100 for just the housing complete you looking at 300-500
