Should I sell my Terra Grapplers?

Okay, I guess this is a good situation to be in, but it's a situation otherwise.

Should I keep my brand new 265 75 16 Terra Grapplers?

I want to clear out my storage, I have a set of brand new Terra Grapplers 265 75 16 tires, not mounted on wheels in there. I bought these in plans of lifting and giving the 4runner a more aggressive look. Well, I haven't done any of that. The 4runner is now being driven my my teen now, 10 to 20 miles a day or so when driven.

With the gas prices, not sure I want to take the mpg hit. My current tires are BF Goodrich with lots of thread on it but i am starting to see surface cracks, last time I had them balanced the guy said to keep putting protectant, but I should be fine.

How much can I sell these for? They have been stored in bags and look great.

You should sell them. To me. For $100. I would think you could get around $500-$600 for the set.

Probably 400-500 for the set. I really enjoyed my Terra Grapplers and got 56k miles out of them with hard road and trail use. If you are running 265/70 right now you wont see much of a mileage difference. If you were jumping to the 285's you would see a difference though.

I'd sell them if you don't plan to run them. I turned 70K on the set I had a few wks ago. Just did replace them with a set of Yokohoma Geolanders in the same tire size as my TG of 265/75s. Nitto TGs are great tires though. Off road, snow, dry pavement & especially in the rain, tires performed flawlessly.

FWIW, have you checked the going prices online of the Nitto TGs lately...I would have gone back with another set, but I couldn't find them any cheaper online than $197.00 each! Too rich for my blood. Settled on the Yokos instead. :bigok:

Thanks for the input, I don't think I'll be using these tires for now. I guess I'll post it up. I wont be available to show until the 13th of Nov. I will post it up then. I'm in the Sacramento area, if anyone is interested send me a pm.

If these are selling for $197 brand new, I suppose I'll sell the set of 4 at $600. Attached a pic I took this week.
