Should I trade up? 2011 -> 2014/2015

I have a 2011 Toyota 4runner Trail. I paid $28,000 for it. It has KDSS and JBL Nav. I was looking at potentially getting a new 2014/2015 4runner. I really like the new body style.

Is it worth it to trade up?

I personally would not.

Wait and see what the 6th gen 4runner has in store. Not worth the switch for pretty much the exact same vehicle IMO. It is not really a new body style, but a mid cycle refresh.

But if you have the cash than why not, get it!

I went form an 11 SR5 to a 15 SR5 dont regret it one bit! Looks great, Feels more solid and it isn't "flighty" feeling at the wheel in high winds

Decision made: Waiting for 6th gen. Time for some wheels and a lift. :D

Good call! That would be a lot of money for a vehicle that essentially is the same as what you have. It would take powertrain improvements to make me consider it, and even then I would probably keep my 13'.

Absolutely worth the trade up ! just to get rid of that stupid fender mount antenna. I went from a 13 to 15 and love it. It's fine if you decide to wait for the 6th gen however that's 18 months away and we have no information on it. and then you're going to have people tell you I wouldn't get the first year. Blah , Blah and I don't like the new 17 front end I would get the 16. Do what you like, my plan : go for the 15, and if I love the the new body style I'm perfect timing for second year of the 6th gen.

If it were all about styling I'd still be driving my '04 Land Rover Discovery.

I'm in a Toyota because they last a long time....... Their styling (to me leaves a lot to be desired - any year).
