anyone know if i can go bigger than the stock 245/60/20 on my limited. I just picked up my 4runner on Saturday. I sold my Nissan Titan w/ 9" lift and 35x13.5x18on it.
the tires on my 4runner look like 10 speed tires.
any help would be appriciated.

Also there are alot of people on these forums with SR5 17" wheels who are looking to trade for the stock 20" wheels on the limited. You would probably have better tire options with the 2010 17" wheels. I'd trade with you but I'm in Texas.

I bought a set of take off FJ wheels and take off Jeep Rubicon tires ($650 total for the full set of 5 wheels and tires) to use as an off road set - very economical and you can still have the MPG's you want when you are not off road by putting the stock wheel tire combo back on. -- Works for me!

Very nice, and GREAT deal! :thumb3: $130 for each tire and rim combo is not bad!

thanks for the input guys! I like the 20's, just wanna go a little bigger/wider. If I start modding my wife will kill me. I had 20k in modding my Titan. I promised her I wouldn't do this to the 4R. (Please don't band me for being sac religious by posting a Nissan picture on this forum, remember i sold it to upgrade to a 4R.)

Hey hoeftm, where did you find that Wheel/Tire combo? You got an incredible deal!

And Sledge, I put a set of 275/55/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 20's. The issue is that the limited 20's are only 7" wide instead of the recommend 7.5" for these tires. I'm not too worried about it at this point. I'll see how they wear down the road. So far I love 'em!:driving:

I wouldn't worry about the width of the rim. I"ve stuffed 35x13.5 on 8.5" rims with no issues.

I bought the wheels from a guy on the forum - he was going to use them on his but then just traded for the SR5 wheels - he got them from craigslist and sold them to me for what he paid - $350 - the tires I also found on craigslist $300 for a set taken off a new jeep. the guy put 35's on his jeep and sold me his take offs for $300 - spare has never been used and the others had just a couple thousand miles.
