I created a FB burner account to follow storm damage in an area that I have a property and the all-knowing algorithm hooked me up with this info.
RIP to another small 3rd Gen Fab company.
Lets be real - too much business/orders do Not kill a business.
Poor business practices such as taking too much money out for one's self or others stealing from it is a far more likely scenario.
If they had too much business, a good business would simply hire more folks, wouldn't you?
That's wild. There's a company that seems to have dropped the ball on custom headlight orders. Can't think of the name at the moment but if I heard it, I could verify. There's a thread on it here in the 3rd gen section, too. I don't have personal experience with either company, but the reviews seem to really be disheartening.
I'm not a business person, but it seems to be rather a simple concept not to take on more than you can handle. You're taking people's money and the people aren't receiving their product for months on months on months. Sounds like atrocious business practices to me and I would have nothing to do with them.

Shrockworks often had a 3-month lead time, even pre-COVID. It clearly isn't a COVID or recent thing. It is a horrible problem in the off-road world in general... take $$$ early, take too long to deliver, run out of $$$ in the mean time and go out of business.Lets be real - too much business/orders do Not kill a business.

That's quite unfortunate. My rear bumper of theirs is really well made. I'd been meaning to contact them about getting a replacement latch, but I guess that's out of the question now.
Should not be too hard to find a similar replacement , I do not remember the company who makes them off hand / ATM.
I think you're thinking of bxbuilt headlights. Which is a poor business model that prioritizes people with online clout over everyone else, makes no attempt to appease their customers, and even has the nerve to email people that have been waiting months to see if they want to pay extra in order to get their headlights sooner. Combine that with rumors of shutting their facility down for multiple days for holidays and even a week for a wedding and it paints a poor picture of their business management and business model.
That might be the best course of action. As it would solve the issues at hand..Additionally, what is Shrockworks going to do with the money from their sales that haven't been fulfilled yet? Are they reimbursing their customers?
Have you not seen the hiring crisis we are in with the economy right now? ...

Every generation has this complaint about the younger generation. All you can do is take care of yourself and family and leave the "kids these days" complaints out of it. The "kids" won't listen anyway - until they get old enough to complain about those younger than them. Reward the good behavior and ignore the bad...Yes - it is the craziest thing that folks simply do not want to work. Read an article the other day saying there are 7 Million males in the US that do not seek employment. Just lazy?
My only question is, how do they survive, off their parents? This is a 21st century problem, don't recall there not being enough workers in the past...
