Shrockworks Front Bumper/Traction Control

My traction control kicks in often just driving around town, particularly entering/exiting driveways. Anybody else experience this issue? Not even sure I would call it an issue considering the extra weight but I was just wondering if anybody else is having the same experience.

Did the SW bumper drop your front end down a bit? Maybe doing a zero point calibration might fix the traction control kicking in? And if you do the ZPC make sure you have the socket as pictured and stick the wire tool into the right holes (I did it wrong the first time lol) the thread is here http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-g...celeration-sensor-zero-point-calibration.html

I did not and do not have this issue.

I didn't have a problem when the front end went down a bit, but I did have a problem post-lift and after doing the ZPC it went away.

This may be a stupid question, but at what speed is TRAC kicking in? and is it TRAC or VSC?

The increased ride height and adde front end weight may mean you can't quite drive-it-like-you-stole-it as you used to.... :shrug:

I will give this a try. Thanks! I didn't even know such a thing existed. I'll give an update when it's done.

[MENTION=55815]Okki[/MENTION] very low speeds never exceeding 10mph. Turning out after a stop sign with a deeper than normal dip/drainage(<5mph). I thought about not answering your second question because I will out myself as clueless, but here it goes: not exactly sure which system is kicking in. The light with the slippery car blinks and I can here "stuff" happening underneath that I can only assume is the brakes making adjustments.

Random story that further demonstrates my cluelessness and impatience: after picking up my truck, I drove around for 3 months thinking my rear wiper intermittent control did not work properly. I never gave it a chance to wipe a few times and then transition to intermittent wiping. But I did find a little work around if you want it to go straight to intermittent wiping: turn the knob to wipe and then back to intermittent.

A lifetime of impatience can really add up to a significant amount of time saved.
