Picked up my new 17 SR5P a couple weeks ago. Loving this thing so far. Only tinted the front windows and blacked out the badges so far but man this thread makes me want a set of black TRDP wheels :wow2:

Finally made my way to Big Bend National Park in Texas. 200+ miles of trails in 2 days... :lookout:
Come across your photos on IG all the time. Wanted to ask, you're running spidertrax spacers with those 285s right? Was a BMC required or no?
Big Bend is dope by the way. I've only ever hiked (did the Outer Loop - 30+ miles - pretty damn tough) but it's amazing out there.

I'm ready to pull the trigger to upgrade lights next. Can you advise on your set up?
I want to tackle my turning issue at night off road. I can't see a damn think I'm turning left into without opening my window. I'm wondering if LED light bars under the grill fixes this, or should I put on an angled LED solo light on the front corners of my Bajarack Flat Utility.
I also want to tackle the reverse problem at night. I think I'm going to pull the trigger for a Tail as Turn mod. I'd rather upgrade bulbs then full installs of separate lights....as I'm a bit shy messing with running wires and undoing panels -- I've broken too many plastic panels in my past.

Thanks! Sadly I don’t think wheels are in the budget right now but I appreciate the heads up. But now I know where to get a contact when I’m ready to burn a hole in my wallet :thumb3:
No 285s...yet. Running 275s with 1.25" spidertrax spacers. I have a friend running 285s with no spacers and no BMC required. I would highly recommend BMC with 285s as you will always have some sort of wear.

I run Opt7 24" in the grill, 40" on the rack, and 2 - 2"x2" Pods in the rear. They've been awesome and very reliable. There are some pods that have angled lights to give you more shine on your sides. Rigid and some other companies sell them. As far as wiring, I've put many hours in my wiring to make it as clean as possible. PM me if you want more information.
