Similarities b/w 4Runner and Tacoma

Am currently looking at light bars and understand there is some common ground b/w the Tacoma and the 4Runner. Is this accurate and how far do they share the same structure: eg: fitment/mounting points?

are you talking about the roof or front bumper?

Specifically regarding the front bumper/lightbar mounting.

well if your looking at a light bar then you can go with the defiant light bar. or you can make it yourself. in terms of similarities we have the same frame and al but I think the mounting tabs for the light bars are a little different. and maybe the length of the bottom hole in the bumper.
