I am the 4th owner of this 1996 4Runner which was purchased from a former co-worker who started the restoration project. Prior to that it was owned by a Union Pacific employee who used the 4Runner as his work / travel vehicle. Most of the damage, hail, dents, and rust were from years of traveling through the Midwest working for the railroad. I did find out that he purchased the vehicle from a Texas police auction where it was seized near El Paso. Apparently this vehicle was involved in some human trafficking across the border...
