I really dig that color! After painting my motorcycle several times with my "professional" rattle can job, I can only imagine the amount of work that went into this. I hope to own my truck long enough that I can do my own paint job with proper tools.

I went back and forth on the bumpers between black and color matched. The only thing I was really sure of was that there would be very little chrome on my 4Runner. It was a tedious, time consuming project but I couldn't stand the washed out light silver color from the factory. I decided to powder coat the spoiler, bumpers, rails, and skid plates at the same time and ended up with a really good deal. The shop allowed me to add my parts to a larger order from Harley Davidson, and didn't charge me a fee to set up the line for a color change. All the powder coated pieces are what they refer to as satin black, not too glossy but definitely not a matte black. I discovered the Range Rover color on a co-worker's car... I have seen that vehicle in broad daylight and at night and you would swear it's 2 different vehicles... It came down to that color, or the new dark grey that Ford is using on the Mustangs...

Switched my brake calipers to the S13WE from the 231mm. Removed all the wheel spacers and I am happy with how the 4Runner is braking finally... also addressed an issue with a power steering fluid leak on the rack. Almost ready to pull the engine and re-seal the motor...
