Size of Tweeter in 2000

I can check my stock ones when I get home...if I still have them. All I can say is my Infinity's were larger and I had to cut out the stock screening in the tweeter covers on the door....not exactly the stock look I was going for.
What brands are you looking at?
A metal bracket holds the tweeter in place on the door for the stock mount; I had to silicone the Inifinity's on the bracket to keep them in place. It works fine and really doesn't look that bad, but I may try bending the brackets to a more shallow angle and buying some new tweeter covers.
Another option I thought about was taking the door mounts (they come with most component sets), painting them to match my interior and putting them on the actual door itself. I don't like this option because the sound position is not as optimal as the stock position.
Not an answer to your question, I know, but just my experience. Hopefully I'll have a better one later.
