I am highly considering running Slick Rock this coming Monday. Got some work to do and would be a good break while waiting for stuff to dry.

I know, excuses, excuses.

Ohh really want to .... Any chance you’d be interested in doing it Sunday instead of Monday?

Possibly, just may not be too early, more likely after noon or so

OK let me know. I'm headed up tomorrow with my son for the weekend (planning to head home Monday) so this could make for a fun Sun. afternoon. I'm sure my fenders will rub like crazy with the new 33s... but I can't pass on trying out slick rock :D

I'll give you a call tomorrow to discuss.

All I can say is WOW. Started at Utica Reservoir and made it to the new bypass. There was no way in hell I was attempting it. Had to turn around and head back out.

The bypass looks like a bunch of buggies or other rigs on 37" or larger tires tore that bypass up. Didn't take pics of the bypass. Will post a couple other pics tomorrow.

Awesome write up. Judging from the vids, I'm pretty sure my 4runner can't do that run in its current state -- there would be major bumper damage or worse.

Slick Rock is not even in the same class as Corral Hollow or Signal Peak. Although, Signal Peak has a good, challenging spot when you stick to the actual trail, but most people do not make the hard right turn up the steep rock climb, but there is nothing on that climb that can cause much damage.
