I silicone the snot out of my roof rack holes when I installed my roof rack.. I put it in the hole, around the hole, and then screwed it down, I then put more ouside the hole once everything was put together. You can't even see the screw heads anymore, only globs of black silicone. No leaks whatsoever, it just looks um..........a little amateurish..but hey, I don't want leaks or the accompanying electrical problems associated with water damage.
