Slight Suspension Upgrade Help

Hello there guys,

I searched for an exact answer for this question, but couldn't find the answer to my problem.

I am looking to put Bilstein 5100's on all four corners. To lift the front, and OME springs for the rear to even it out. I also want to upgrade my tires to 285/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers.

My question: With the above suspension changes will I be able to run the 285s on my stock TE wheels without them rubbing the UCAs? If so, can this be simply solved by wheel spacers?

I am trying to avoid buying new wheels, even though they may look cooler.

I am running the tires on my TE with no suspension mods and they do not rub--FYI.

Thanks for the replies guys. I have decided to go with the OME 3'' and Toyo Open Country 285/70/17.

I found a local privately owned shop to install everything for me. As soon as everything is installed it will be driven 4,000 miles so I want to make sure it is done right. I don't really trust my work with things like this because I have never done it before.

I am confident that it will all work out. Worse case, I have to move the fender well plastic around. No big deal.

Now I just have to sell my road bike so I can do everything all in one shot. Funny selling one bicycle can fix up my truck with money to spare. LOL

Thats funny, I bought a new bike and that is what kept me from doing the better more expensive suspension. I went with a new mountain bike TREK FuelEx 9.8 Carbon, so there went almost $5k, so I can see how you would have extra money.

Put some 285/70/17 BF Goodrich All Terrain K/O s on her today. Cant believe they fit. Only rubs a TINY bit at full lock in reverse on the drivers side.

Now its time to raise her up.
