Slow Toyota

I have a 1991 Toyota SR5 with the V6. This 4Runner has very little acceleration. Is this normal for this vehicle? Is there a quick solution other than replacing the vehicle with a new 4Runner with the V8?

I've driven a V6 199X Toyota pickup once and that thing was pretty slow too. I guess the best solution would be to replace it with a new 4Runner V8

I have one too and the engine has been called the 3.0 so slow for a long time. I thought my 4 cyl. 1986 T4r ran better. Save up and get a 4th generation (2003 on) T4r. I love mine new one and my the 91 will be up for sale after this winter. I must admit that it has been absolutely trouble free for 14 years.
