Smashed up my front end.

Well i feel stupid, should have had snow tires on by this point.

Accelerated away from a stop sign, up hill while road slightly bends. Ass end came out and I hit a post. Idiot. The crash was gentle enough i thought i would be able to drive away but alas, it was a bit more serious than i thought

Anyway I am left with a smashed up front end. Basically need a whole new front clip. Which since these trucks never die, is proving hard to find in the local used market. And factory parts costing far too much.

I was considering selling next summer in hopes of better fuel economy. Which makes fixing this even more of a headache.

I really don't want to put a ton of cash into this truck only to lose it all if i sell.

Its a 2000 4Runner Limited, and only has 230,000kms. If i cut my losses and scrapped it now I would lose out huge, and someone would end up with a bad ass truck with a little elbow grease.

I am not sure if the chrome bumpers will fit on a limited, But if anyone in the Ontario Canada region knows of a decent donor car or front clip please let me know.

You could buy non OEM replacement parts and have them match painted. Still going to cost a good $1-2K but is worth it. May beable to salvage it out under insurance also. Get some money for it, if you had the coverage for it.
