So for the last few months I have noticed a burning oil smell coming from my 03 V8. This evening when I started it, the light was just right, and I saw that the burning oil/smoke is coming from the right header, at what I believe is the O2 sensor. Is that probably just a broken seal / bad sensor that needs to be replaced, or indicative of something more serious? I will put a wrench on it tomorrow first chance i get and see if it is just loose.

O2 simply measure gases & exhaust so ^
You sir are correct. I looked a little closer and noticed a bit of oil dripping off a bracket onto the exhaust manifold/aluminum guard.

I had the same issue with a slight leak on my valve covers, tightened down the bolts just a bit (with a torque wrench), which most all of them were not as tight as they should of been, i.e. improper torque and my leak has stopped, be careful if you try this as not to over-torque the bolts as they can break easily.
