I love those headlights!! I wonder if they are HID!!!!!!!!!

LED tails are cool too, something I've been thinking about Retro'in into my 04.

Maximum power is 125hp@3600rpm and maximun torque is 219lb-ft@2000rpm.


These figures seem small for the Toyota 1KD-FTV D4-D 3.0L engine. Do you have the smaller 2KD-FTV 2.5L engine? Actually, they seem to be the output of the export version of the older Toyota 3.0L 1KZ-TE engine.

The export version of the 1KD-FTV 3.0L D4-D has an output of 160hp@3400rpm and 253lb-ft@1400-3400rpm

edit: I just looked at the Toyota-Caribbean website and the 4Runner is indeed using the the older 1KZ-TE engine which is not a direct injection engine but uses high-pressure fuel rail system.

Thanks Offroader, I had assumed incorrectly thay you were here in the 48 states. I only know of 2 diesel SUVs here: the Liberty ( I am disappointed with the quality) and the Excursion (which is unnecessarily huge if you just do not need car that can pull 7 or 8 tons). I don't even consider the H1 because if you can buy it, it's pretty much just a status symbol.

You can get the VW Touareg with a 310hp V10 diesel.

MP3 and Bluetooth on the 06 Hilux Surf

It looks like you can play MP3 files now. Look at the top left of the NAV console, above the DISC button.

And in the text below that picture you can see the words Bluetooth!

This is TERRIBLE News!

I received a call late last night that I didn't have a chance to return until today...

I was the Stealership that I've ordered a 4Runner LTD 4x4 V8 from...

They just received confirmation that my 2005 4Runner will arrive here in 2 to 3 weeks!!

Of course I'll be VERY happy with a 2005 since it was the version I ordered but... :bash:

At least I can add the NAV Voice Commands. I'm not big on MP3's right now. I'd like Bluetooth but since I don't currently have a phone that supports it anyway... :

In fact... This is GREAT NEWS!! My 4Runner will soon be here!! :bouncy2: :rocker:
