Found a great deal on sliders so I bought them, they have a 4-8 week lead time so now I wait


They wouldn't honor their pricing so I canceled the order with BAMF.

If you have more Batt. issues I would tell you from my own use and others as well look at the DieHard Plat. Battery. It is just a bit over 200.00 bucks but worth it.

I' coated the entire underside with a thick coat of fluid film on Saturday. Went on easy, it's like spraying honey on the frame and feels waxy.

Any tips for someone who is going to be doing the same thing shortly here? How did ya spray it?

I just went to town, did a thick coat tried the best I could to get it into all the nooks of the frame. I'd put plastic around your exhaust so it doesn't smoke for days. I did left to right then right to left and got pretty much everywhere.

Purchased a b&m 70268 transmission cooler so I don't loose sleep over strawberry milkshake.

Went playing testing the rub, yes it's there need to extend the bump stops.

Installed a b&m 70268 cooler. No more pink milkshake for me!! Looks like the original radiator so, I feel lucky!

Also replaced the old coolant after finding out at 1am that it was pretty lean (aka slushy radiator hoses made the temp run warm) good thing I was paying attention.. I pulled over and let everything thaw then made the trip home.

Went wheeling after the snow storm. Went with a friend he's got a 1st gen taco e-locked.

Thus was the hardest obstacle of the day, he made a run at it and was denied about 3/4 the way up he tried pretty hard too! I figured there was no chance of me making it but I mad it! 4 low all the way with lots of wheel spin! He wasn't happy about it

We spooked 3 bull moose, really nice rack on the biggest guy.

Also spotted this owl. He eyeballed us pretty hard.

Visiting family at the farm in Vermont

Placed an order today for 2 sticks of 2x2 .120 square tube and 1'x4' 3/16 plate steel to build some sliders. Total less than 100 out the door. Time to get to work, I plan on them looking like mr. Dirtco's slider. Simple and effective.

Also traded my spare light bar for a new warn m8000 winch! So now I have two winches, should I front and aft winch?

I do need to extend my bump stops. Rubbing on mudflap, flare and inner fender.

Spent the last hour cutting the steel that will become my rock sliders.

Hopefully this weekend I'll have time to weld them up.

Almost done. Took way more time than I expected but they look great and are built strong.

Just need some more flat steel to add behind the square bar. I want to cover the space behind so you don't see dirt when looking through the sliders.

Added a small strip like dirtco.

The real first time I've welded anything. So I'm pretty happy with how the welds came out.
