Snow or snowboard related mod

Has anyone made any snowboard or snow driving related mods or additions to thier 4runner. If so id like to see some.

How about new 31x10.5" Yokohama Geolander A/T-S's, or keeping a sleeping bag rated to 40 below in the truck at all times?

I also just bought a new Atomic Alibi 159 with the Salomon SPX Pro's. Im ready for snow and snowboarding!!

A-Basin opened today and I just got my board waxed! I might have to play hookey one day next week to get some turns in!

I just bought and installed the Yakima FatCat 6 ski and snowboard rack. As I mentioned in another post, it can fit two wide boards side by side, has extending attachement to accomidate large bindings, and gives little to no wind noise due to it's low profile design. It's sweet!

SlowYourRoll, how do you like the Yoko's? Have you tried them in the snow yet?

Ummm... the 4Runner is a mod in itself (to the wallet). If it wasn't for the passion of snow, I would get an IS350 or GS350. Looks like we got a promising season this time around in California. Let it snow--can't wait.

On a more serious note, Husky Liners to keep the carpet clean.

I came across this old thread while searching for info on the Yakima Fatcat 6's and I noticed your last post Uneek. Great call on a "promising season" in California haha. What a bust! :bash:

It's more like dirt boarding, even at mammoth or tahoe.

Speak for yourself buddy. We had early storms in October and then a dry weather pattern. Just this past week NorCal has seen multiple storms and some resorts are reporting 8' of snow.

Here's from the homepage of the resort I frequent,

20-24" of new snow fell on the Summit in the last 24 hours and its still snowing! Celebrate Northstar

Okay, I retract my current opinion, and change it to 95% of CA being a bust. Still proves my point. And the whole "post count" thing is kinda old.

Plus, snow on the summit isn't saying much since the rest of a resort can be a few thousand foot difference. Mammoth stays open until July 4th on occasion, but that doesn't mean that 90% of their trails aren't anything but dirt.......

You always get so defensive......

Besides, I said California as a whole, not ONLY your precious Tahoe. Which i'm sure not all of the resorts there got as much snow depending on the direction they face. So if you can justify me being wrong because a few resorts got decent snow coverage out of the entire state of CA then please do so. And no matter what, everywhere is still below average. Northstar is only about 60% open, and almost all of it is Beginner, and about half of their intermediate runs.
