So confused on what tire to get. Please Help

Don't know what tire to get. Had my mind made up on goodyear duratrac in the 265/75/16 and I was going to get the C load range and they (sears) want 30 more per tire for the c versus the e load range. Seem backwards to me. I have always ran a bfg mud in the past. I have a 3" lift on the 4runner with flares and toyota mud flaps. Will it ride real rough with the e load range. And who makes a really large 265/75/16? I am on the fence for 285's.
If I go 265/75/16 I don't want them to be a smaller size like bfg's usually are. Please help Thanks

If you can try Discount Tire since the C load range Duratracs are cheaper than the Es at their store or try their on-line site.

Not to bash Discount Tire, I still use them for all my street/strip tires, but I quickly found that Tire Rack is cheaper and has more availability for MT's. Please don't waste u'r money on the Duraturds. That's what my buddy has on his Jeep Liberty and it's stuck all the time!

What are your intentions? Offroad every weekend like me? I also drive 2-300mi a week on pavement. My suggestion is the Kumho Road Venture MT KL71. I have 285s but they also have 265s for $163. If you already have the lift, go for the 285s, they need spacers to clear properly (still driving mine w/o, on order) but when you hit the trail you will never regret them. Road comfort is great for an MT and I'd say medium for noise.

All depends on your needs and style. I just say Go big or go home! Oh yeah, they're cheaper too.
