So, here's a weird one. (LED bulb issue)

I just installed LED bulbs in my tail lights; stop, turn and reverse. My left stop light bulb isn't working. That's not the weird part. With my headlights off, if I apply the brakes, my dash illumination comes on, along with liscene plate lights, corner lights and such. What the heck is going on?!

Josh, in the old days of filament bulbs this happened all the time when a bulb would short internally. I'm thinking you got something similar going on. Change one bulb at a time to locate it.

So, I'm dumb. I flipped the bulb around and it fixed everything! How crazy that it could do all that weird stuff from something so simple.

Ok, I still need help, that didn't fix it. All the lights work, but when I hit the brakes, the dash lights and corner lights come on too? What's the deal?

I'm feeling there may be a ground problem somewhere.

That may very well be the case, but all I did was change bulbs. No wiring or anything like that.

what if you change the bulbs back? Assuming it fixes it try putting in the new LED bulbs one at a time like iballengineer mentioned and see if you can narrow it down.
