So nobody knows how to install a CB ?

I live in Tustin, work in Gardena.

I'll have to check out the rear drivers side door. Any problem with the cable fluttering at highway speeds, or is your antenna just above the door there. Maybe I should just ask where you put the antenna.

I'm intrigued with the GMRS. I'll be looking into that now, thanks for the enlightenment.

Nope, don't have any problem with the cable making any noise. The mag mount sits in the middle of the roof right behind the sunroof.

Breaker, Breaker, Well I just decided to hook up the positive wire to the cigarette lighter. I tried putting on the add a circuit thingy but the fuse box inside the cab did not allow anthing under 20 amps and that thingy was 10 amps. Anyways its working now. Thanks for all your input.

If this fuse box is from a 4th gen, then you used the IGNITION fuse slot?
Do you get any engine noise?
I currently have mine in the ACCESSORY fuse, and I am getting tons of noise whenever I use my turn signal, or the fuel pump kicks on.
I have read here that the best choice is a NON dedicated/empty fuse slot.
I would rather NOT use a fuse that has power all the time.
Too much of a chance that my brain will forget to turn it off.
