Someone with a 2014 please do me this favor

turn it on, turn the radio off and depress the brake repeatedly, do you have an intermittent vibration in the pedal? It is even audible if you listen close.

Dealership said they felt no vibration and everything is normal, Ive never felt this on any car Ive owned, just bought this 2 days ago.

Based on your description, I think it is normal for the vehicle. Post back with a more detailed description if you're concerned.

Thanks Eagle, that thread put it to rest with this post here... However, I did not feel this on the other 2 14's I test drove...

It sounds like normal operation of the braking system. the 4th & 5th gen 4Runners utilize a hydraboost unit that uses hydraulic pressure vs. conventional vacuum assist. You'll feel the pump kicking in regularly as it maintains pressure in the accumulator, it will kick on when you first start the vehicle after depressing the brake pedal a couple times, holding the brake pedal, ect. as long as its a very slight vibration and noise its normal.

I've felt what I think you're describing and I think it's totally normal. I only notice it when I'm wearing thinner-soled shoes and I 100% remember it on my 3rd gen as well.

which may explain why I feel it in my nike free runs and the wife felt it in her thin chick shoes, but nothing from the tech in boots. Still, same shoes and didnt feel it in 2 other 2014 4R's

Heh yeah, mine does that, first thing when starting the car. Like the system is charging up. If you have your window down you can even hear it from the engine bay pretty clearly.

Same here since there were 5 miles on the odo. No issue there whatsoever.
