Source for waterproof rubber wire sockets?

Looking for a source for a plug type connector for wiring roof lights.
Putting two HID lights on the roof rack on some DIY mounts. While I'm not planning on removing them, I wanted a waterproof socket I could wire in, so the wiring could be disconnected if removing the roof basket. Ideally the plug/socket with have space for 4 wires (likely 12 gauge) for the two ground and two power wires for the lights. Planning on running the four wires through the passenger side forward roof rack cap.
Anyone know of a good source for these type of connectors?

connectors, I like Deutsch connectors for waterproof.

DT series: caps, various mounts, sealed, etc. When I relocated my cats on my car I used these.

I've been looking at those same style connectors. I'm still undecided for my rack/lights. bikerjosh, have you though about a simple flat trailer wire plug. If you only have 2 lights, that might work also and may be a little easier to find locally.

Yeah, I thought about that, but not sure how much power you can run through them? Using 35watt internal ballast HID lights. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure how much power can run through them. I would assume it to be enough since brake/turn signal bulbs are 55w for a trailer? Unless you are going to be running them constantly like headlights, I would think it should be fine.

It sounds like you have a very similar setup to mine. I've got 4 hella 500's with 35w hid kits in them that just hasn't been installed yet. I'll be sure to keep track of your install as I should be getting mine together by the end of the month.

I've been running my 55w Hella fogs through trailer flat plugs for 11 years. The ones I have come with 14ga. wires same as the harness Hella gives you. I will fuse at 15a through a 14ga. and 20 amp through a 12ga. so I will attach loads up to a max of 80 per cent of that as a rule of thumb. (Theoretical max is quite a bit higher but I like those numbers.)

The flat trailer plugs I have seen have the wires attached. If the wire can handle the load, the plug can usually handle more. So you are limited by the wire.
