lane:It'll be clear and sunny on Saturday, so no worries about wheeling in the rain. All depends on if the river swells and floods the bottom - but that doesn't look like it'll happen.
The last time we went was after 3 days of hard rain. It was slick, but that made it all the more fun since the easier trails became more challenging.

Yep, top of Heartbreaker. I have a "I got my heart broken on Heartbreaker" sticker now. Yeah, it doesn't look too bad. Just got in that v-ditch and started 3-wheelin it. Earlier in the day I eased it right up, but I gave it too much skinny pedal and before I knew it, I was flopped. Skip said it happens a lot there, actually. Definitely avoidable, but it started right up. Smashed my back window, though. Oh, and the whole left side of the truck.
My Gulches sticker was the only thing holding the window together. Good times.

I haven't ran heartbreaker in my rig yet. I rode it in Skips Jeep. I've been itching to run it (almost did last trip). This... Has me rethinking it.
I think I'd cry if this happened to me. And my wife would beat my ass.
Hopefully you can get out there with us some time.

Ugh... Man I don't remember that portion being so gnarly. All these locked rigs still needing to bump that hard to get up... We'll see.

Well I don't plan on getting my heart broken, lol. The video really shows how lockers make a big difference! At least Austin has lockers now. I know MadToy is double locked too. I have my trusty ATRAC and center diff lock.The line to the far left looks like the way to go on heartbreaker.
Looking forward to this trip.
