Yeah, the fix was to send out (2) 2x1. I'd have been ok with just shifting the 3x1 forward tho.

My suggestion for anybody planning to fill all the slots eventually would be to order any extra crossbars as the 2" size and shuffle around the 3" ones you already own as needed.

The rails are actually identical. The logo plates were incorrect on both of mine (part of the first 10 made). One was backwards (on the wrong side of the rail) and the other was cut in reverse somehow so it couldn't be used at all. I told SSO and they sent me 2 replacement logo plates and the rivets to install them. It took about 10 minutes with a 1/8" drill bit and a rivet gun. I still have both of the old ones in an envelope somewhere around here. I don't have the shark fin so I have no suggestions on how to work around that other than what you did. I also installed the 2" crossbar on the rear angle because I wanted all 3" across the top.

There's two differences actually. The logo, and more importantly the nut inserts for the wind faring only go one way

As for the cross bars they're sending me a free 2" bar.

Good catch. Mine has been on there since February and I'd forgotten that little nutsert detail.

Correct, 47” length. Call them and say you want the same as for Prinsu rack but 1030. They will know all the other options.

I'm finding that Front Runner's accessories work pretty well for me on this rack. Hardware has to be completely replaced, of course, but that's easy. Think it might be time for more crossbars though.

Had mine for a few months now, looking to add the alley lights in the cut outs. Anyone done this yet or found a write up on how to do it? I don't see how the wiring will fit under the weather stripping going to the hood from both lights.

I can tell you they are SOLID. Load spreading is pretty darn good, especially with all the crossbars installed.

The biggest issue people seem to have is that, since the rack is pretty low profile, attaching the hardware to mount the tent can be kind of a pain. Easiest way seems to be to pull the crossbars, mount the tent on them and then reinstall the crossbars.

I see...I was under the impression the tent mounted to the crossbars, but it makes sense to mount to the side bars. Thanks! I plan on ordering one soon.

A tent does mount to the crossbars. I think what he was saying is that it is easier to remove two of the crossbars, install them onto the bottom of tent, then lift that assembly back onto the rack and tighten the bolts.

Yeah, you still mount the tent on the crossbars, you just pull the crossbars off the rack to do it. Otherwise your gonna need some real tiny hands to tighten those nuts on the bottom of the crossbars.
