She is still home on maternity leave...so I'm taking the baby every time he cries or gets fussy!

(plus flowers...plus apologies...plus telling her I'm an idiot...plus apologizing for being an idiot)

(in my defense...she knew I was an idiot when she married me, so this shouldn't surprise her or anything)

Flowers delivered and well received, and then I took the baby and rocked him (getting him to sleep and keeping him asleep) for a solid 2 hours so she could do homework and stuff.

May get some additional points when she asks, "Did you install that switch at (Antman)'s house today?" (for the interior accent lighting) and I say "no".

Truth be told...I don't even know how to set up a PayPal account for donations, though I know it's been done a gagillion times before.

I could implement levels, based on what is raised. Something like:

$0-$35: goes toward her concert ticket as a gesture of goodwill from the t4r.org family (i.e. a bribe to allow mods - and, by association, this thread - to continue)

$35-$60: goes toward her concert ticket, and a nice dinner. (like Five Guys or Taco Bell or something)*

$60-70: concert ticket, dinner, and a t4r.org sticker, and we take a picture of both of us at the concert, holding up the sticker and/or an "I *heart* t4r.org" sign**

$70+: All of the above, plus any additional money goes to the next mod, to be done by Mrs. Sp8ball!***

* - Anything over $50 would trigger a clause where I purchase my own TRD shirt and take a pic at the concert for the Forum.
** - subject to approval from Mrs. Sp8ball
*** - subject to approval from Mrs. Sp8ball; all mods done under the supervision of Antman and Sp8ball

If anyone is interested, I also have some Nigerian family members who just happen to be members of the Royal Family of Nigeria...but they're being detained for being civil rights activists. If you send me $1000(US), you'll get 100 TIMES that amount when they're freed from a political prison.

True enough, but...

If I don't "course correct" quickly, there will be no more mods. And then this thread has no future.

(Editor's note: check out pages 1 thru 4 of this thread, and then pages 17 to 20 of this thread. It went from straight-up "doing mods" to "nonsense" real fast. Time to save the day with the wife, do more mods, and get us back on track! The lesson here: positive interaction with the wife is critical to the pursuit of mods.)

Well you are in a conundrum my friend… You have the 1000 viewers that are obviously extremely loyal to your posts and then your wife who has the ability to squash everything you possibly do…

Hopefully the flowers went over well and you picked yourself up a pair of good noise canceling headphones for the concert. Just to be on the safe side you may want to put in for a manicure for your wife. Not sure how her nails are but if they are worse than yours you are in trouble…. And going back to those photos you are stiff competition.

On that note… Antman… now that he’s been mod banned…. Beer of choice???..... What are you doing this coming week…… Haha.

So - Sorry fellas, gotta wait for the writeup king to patch things up. We have a plan to get our wives together so they can complain about what dorks we are. My wife can probably show a new perspective on our (obsession?). She knows to leave me alone in the garage with any new vehicle we get for......awhile. She still thinks I'm nuts though. If they get together and complain about the same stuff, we may actually seem normal to them again. Fingers crossed.
