Spacer Installation Cost?

daystar... the front of a stock 4th gen runner sits almost exactly 2 inches lower.... u can find a ton of guys that did the daystar, just search for it, it matches perfectly from the ones i have seen

The ONLY deal with Daystar is that I'm scared the running boards will be at a large angle. Right now, the fronts measure about 3/4 inch below the rear. If I raise that up two inches, they will be pointing upwards.

Excellent info, and exactly what I was looking for!!! Thanks! So now, I'm really thinking about changing that setting a little so that my rear raises up aobut 1/2 inch above normal. That, combined with the Daystar Budget Boost Lift should give me a great overall stance. The best part of it is that I can continue to change the rear height as needed until I get what I want. I know the rear can be raised over an inch with the system, so this should work well.

Yep. Oddly enough, I decided to call on one of my buddies from my old Mustang club (previous vehicle was a Mustang, just got the 4runner in August). Sure enough, he was somewhat familiar with working on vehicles and said together with some instructions we should be able to handle it. I'm unsure how quickly I will do this. After that link above, I'm really considering doing a larger lift on the front, something like a 2-2.5. I'm still unsure, I'm also speaking with a rep from Toytec about a possible option there. I've got a 1.5 inch lift planned out, we're just unsure whether or not I will run into problems with overextension from a large top out spacer. Second thought is the Daystar to give one inch of lift, then crank the back up about 1/2 inch to give a better stance. IDK, but I'm glad all this posting and searching is finally paying off.

I LOVE the way it looks and already have had a few other 4Runner drivers ask me about it. I don't plan on wheeling this one hard, I have a FJ62 for that. :driving: For your viewing pleasure...

Thanks for the pics, just what I needed to see. I'm waiting on some responses from a few different reps, but I believe I've about got this thing figured out. I've got one final question: what is the largest top out spacer I can run without causing issues?
