I read a thread on another forum about a guy doing some basic tuning of his Ford motor. A lot of what he was doing is similar to what we do - he increased his air in, bumped his timing, and then he increased the gap on his spark plugs by a couple hundredths.
He figured that with more air and earlier spark, he wanted bigger spark to go with that. I think he's off his rocker and that's not going to do any good unless he opens up his injectors and gets a bigger ignition coil, but as long as I'm under my hood, what do you guys think?
