Speaker Adapter Template for 6x9 to 6.5?

I did a cursory search which yielded nothing useful, so I thought I'd petition the forum to see if we have a speaker adapter template posted up here yet. I've got speakers waiting to install in the front doors, but have yet to do so, in part because I know I'll need to make the template...

So, in the interest of saving time, does anyone have one made that could be made publicly available via PDF or some other format?

Speaker adapters

Since you have to remove the factory speakers to install new ones...Trace the factory speaker flange directly onto the material your using for an adapter. Then use the template that comes with your new speakers or a compass to layout the 6.5" speaker hole. Do this ONCE. trial fit it to be sure it is right then copy it for the other door.
Jig saw or Router works fine. no-one will see it.

Crutchfield sent a bracket with my speakers. No way it was going to fit.
I gutted the OEM speakers and mounted the bracket that Crutchfield sent to the OEM speaker frame. Worked perfect.

Yeah but, Now you don't have speakers to put back in when you sell it.
Keep my cars for about 4 years then put all the original junk back in before trading it in.

Why bother with looking for a template? Trace the speakers on the wood, and cut 'em out.. that's what I ended up doing.
took 15 minutes per spacer. Primarily due to beers that were had in the process.

That is a good point. I keep my vehicles about 10 years.

Here are the Speaker Adapter templates. The background grid is 1" x 1"

Note that the center hole is for a basic 6.5" round speaker. My new JL's are 6.75" usually a new set will come with either a dimension or it's own template.
