Special run - SW Stainless skid plates

...Long shot I know, but these wouldn't be included in the upcoming group buy would they?

Nope. Also, if you want stainless you'll not only have top pay a premium (stainless costs more than regular steel) and you'll have to find some else that that wants stainless as SW needs two orders per sheet of stainless stock before bringing in the stainless.

Right I remember. I was in on this original run you guys had lined up but just didn't have the money then. Oh well. Steel it is!

We got KO's skids installed a while back and they looked great.
Unfortunatly I couldnt get any decent pictures. No flash meant they looked almost exactly like the pictures on our site of the milds steel skids, and with flash brought out the shine so much that it was blinding the camera. They certainly looked nice though.
All in all, the manufacturing processes of working with stainless in the initial run we educational, but we didnt hit any major hiccups and it went fairly smooth. I found a few tricks along the way to clean up the finished product and by the time I was finished welding out both sets the beads were looking pretty dang nice. A success to say the least.
Stainless is an awesome solution to skids, and certainly the best way to achieve strength and corrosion resistance. Though it does come at a price. We would certainly be game for continuing to do small runs of them here and there for those who might be interested.

What's the cost on a complete set? Front & Gas tank? Do you have SS for the Diff's as well?

Yep, looks like we had a series of PM's going back and forth and I guess I just missed the last one. Our last run was $1711 for a full set shipped (engine, trans, t-case & gas), and we're going to carry that price until we get to the point that we're doing these on a much larger scale and find some tricks to speed up the process.
We dont currently carry a diff skid diff skid, and dont have any plans at the moment to develop one.
