Speed Drain Plugs on Transmission?

I am getting ready to drain/fill my transmission oil. I have had a speed drain plug on my oil pan for years now (this one from Fumoto: https://www.amazon.com/EZ-Oil-Drain-Valve-removable/dp/B00HTV2N4E).

I can't see any reason not to use one on transmission, but thought I'd ask and seek other opinion. Any thoughts, pro or con?

I wouldn't do a Fumoto drain valve on the transmission, simply because the bottom of the pan is not protected as well as the drain on the oil pan, the last thing I would want is for some road debris knocking the valve off the trans mission and not know it until the transmission was ruined because all the fluid drained out, at least with the engine oil if that valve got knocked off the oil warning light would light up to warn you, there's no such warning light for the transmission fluid!
