I just got 32s on my rig 255/75/17 and i did a calculation that my speed is off by 8mph at 60mph roughly 11%.

All the threads i have found said i need to buy a electronic speedohealer thing

Since most of the threads are 3+ years old that i have found, are there any new and innovative ways to correct the problem or is this the only route?

Get an Ultragauge. not only is it easy to get accurate speed, you'll get MPG info and lots more. $ well spent, especially with our crap fuel gauges.

i have the scangauge II. I am more concerned about my odometer miles. I plan on having this a truck long time and want to keep it as accurate as possible, and since it is young only 115,000 miles on it.
