Spidertrax wheel spacers of wabfab? and what size?

Wabfab does have more choices. The issue is the little flange that's present on the T4R and the Spidertrax.
The T4R rims are hub-centric rather than lug-centric. The Wabfab stuff fits but you're very likely to have vibrations etc. The Spidertrax has the flange and allows for the hub-centric rim to work properly.
I am so torn because of all this. I would love spacers but I would like approx .75" not the full 1.25" of the Spidertrax. (That's just what I want, I'm not saying 1.25" is too much.) I'll probably go with FJ or last gen Tundra/Sequoia wheels to get the offset I want. Those wheels push out the tires 15mm on each side.

If you're going for looks then, yes you're correct. The main reason is to allow for bigger tires to be run on stock rims, UCA's and what not without rubbing.

Many have used the 1.25" Spidertrax with those sizes and stock T4R rims. Going much more than that pushes the wheel out too far. It gets stressful for the bearing and will cause excessive rubbing with the wheel opening (fender). Much under .75 (that's a guess on my part) and you may still have UCA rubbing. FJC/Sequoia/Tundra rims push the wheels out 15mm which is about .6". FJC rims seem to get rid of the UCA rubbing within the 265-285 family of tires.

:iagree: .5" on each side would be ideal. The Spidertraxx are too wide IMO and look silly from certain angles.

So Chris, since I have the FJ rims already, I should be safe w/o spacers and with 285s?

I have spidertrax and love them. I used to have them on my stock t4r wheels and now have them on fj wheels. Between the FJ wheels offset and the spidertrax it is definitely a wider stance but it doesnt bother me.
The only problem I am getting is with my new suspension I actually rub my fenders when I really compress the suspension. Looks like I will have to pull the entire inner fender and maybe even trim a little on the flat underneath part of the fender itself. This won't be a problem most will get though.
