spitting and sputtering

my 4 runner is spitting and sputtering pretty bad i changed the three plugs on the driver side and wires not knowing it needed double ground plugs i put single ground plugs in and truck is missing like crazy could these single ground plugs be my problem engine light is on and computer says only malfunction is cylinder misfire on #2 suggestions please

Yes!


Also confirm that you have the wires going to the proper plug.
Also, change all 6 plugs to new proper plugs. The Denso or NGKs. Don't try to find or use a "better" plug. The best plug is the proper plug.

thanks Gerdo i tried everything i could imagine and watched a video on youtube and the guy said u had to use double ground plugs just wanted some opinions

the wires need to go to the coil pack right opposite of the wire right for instance the first one on driver side goes to the first one on the pass. side

your advice was awesome i changed around the wires and the motor doesnt even quiver 336000 miles still amazes me kinda scared me this time though but runs like a top thanks fellas
