Jason reached out, and told me to keep the keys away from the vehicle during install - that did the trick.

In regards to the ten minutes, it doesn't seem needed if you UNLOCK, open the door, close the door, then install.

After the door closed, and I opened it to install, the message to press the brake to start didn't show.. and install went fine.

Just ordered mine yesterday, got a text today saying it was shipped. Looking forward to testing it out! I plan to mount this to one of my blank switches, so I'll follow up with how I accomplish that.
 
I installed one on my three-week old truck last week.

Nice kit. Drives like a normal heavy truck with AT now rather than a total pig.

Any follow-up observations on your gas mileage with the SB installed? I went through all 24 pages of this thread and yours is the only post that mentions actual data on MPG impact. Hoping some others might be able to offer additional input. Thanks.
 
Installed SB on my 2021 venture

I installed one on my 2021 Venture, Love it! Just like a lot of people say it gives that feel of a normal acceleration instead of that sluggish pedal. Just be careful if you install inside a garage, first time backing up may be a little quicker responce. Took me a day to get used to but I love, love love it :first:

I will monitor, but I just installed mine recently, and I can tell you I feel like I /want/ to use more acceleration - now that I have it.

So, I do expect my MPG to go down now that I have the ability to "use it" when I want it.
 
Mine should be here tomorrow. I'm a little excited :D Are you guys putting the insulation wrap around the heater core tubes? I'll have to go get some, if yall recommend it.
 
Got mine installed this evening. Only drove it a few miles, but it's crazy how better it accelerates now and I only got it set on sport-5. Even the downshifts come in quicker, but I guess that's from the throttle valve being opened sooner. I'll get a better feel on the way to work tomorrow. I put some heat wrap around the lower heater core tube, but after I got the pigtail ziptied out of the way, I don't think it's needed. There's plenty of room between them.
