I was searching for these tonight and wanted to share a pretty good price I found on these.

TDOT Performance has these for 290 CAD (yeah, Canadian) and free shipping to the US. It comes out to about $219 which is far cheaper than anywhere else. Link

I have been feeling like my T4R Trail was kinda sluggish and I was looking at different things to help improve acceleration and/or response. Thanks to all of you! I just placed an order for V2. I drive 14 miles each way to work on the freeway and it takes me about 45 minutes of stop and go with brief stretches where it opens up, typical LA traffic. When it does open up, I find myself lagging or slow to catch up before the next slow down. And when I do mash the pedal to speed up then I have to slow down rather abruptly when traffic stops again. It's frustrating, I didn't have this slow throttle response in my 2008 FJ Cruiser. This sounds like the perfect product for me to keep pace with traffic. Would the people who have this installed concur?

I like it, set on green it makes the throttle FEEL better to me. Most others that have actually tried it will report the same.

Yes, I like having it, it makes my daily drive more pleasant than the sluggish stock acceleration. But I will warn you, its a "small" difference, although it is a welcome one. Only downside is the cost!!! Not sure its worth the $$$ for a small difference! Wish Toyota wouldn't nerf the acceleration!:redbrick:

I went with the V2.. people seem to be happy with the green setting for daily driving and i imagine i would drive myself nuts with more options.

I imagine there's more benefit to vehicles with weaker low end torque. When you consider what it does, it's essentially the same as smashing the pedal. For something like a Camaro you are better off getting a tuner. 4Runners don't have that kind of aftermarket support.

Fuel economy changes will depend on how you drove it before compared to how you drive it with the unit.
